HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Develop and maintain operational application performance monitoring dashboards leveraging out of the box Dynatrace software product capabilities
Monitor operational events to allow for normal operation and to detect/escalate exception conditions facilitating proactive incident detection and response.
Ensure the measurement and control of IT services is based on a continual cycle of monitoring, reporting, and coordinated operational support/response actions for all IT services
Operate and maintain a communications and coordination bridge to ensure handling of structured activities targeted at the central management of operational events, incidents, routine operational activities and reporting on the status or performance of IT services
Provides technical assistance and advice on complex activities and formulates / defines specifications, develops / modifies / maintains complex systems and subsystems, using vendor engineering releases and utilities for overall operational systems
Applies analytical techniques when gathering information from users, defining work problems, designing technology solutions, and developing procedures to resolve the problems
Develops complete specifications to enable computer programmers to prepare required programs and analyzes methods of approach
Contributes to completion of major engineering programs and projects and develops solutions to a variety of highly complex engineering problems
Perform highly complex systems design, development, and integration from the start of a systems life cycle to the end
Oversees highly complex infrastructure including installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management tools
Performs highly complex systems modeling, simulation, and analysis
Performs continual maintenance and provides highly complex solutions for security, backup, and redundancy problems
Prepares and maintains documentation for processes and procedures related to engineering projects
Maintains current knowledge of rapidly changing technology and works with management to evolve current processes
May coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals and may serve as a team or task lead
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education: BA/BS degree in a related field and 10 years of experience, or a MA/MS degree in a related field and seven (7) years of experience
Required Technical Skills:
- Experience working with an ITSM tool such as Remedy, HEAT or ServiceNow
- IT Troubleshooting skills, especially with common enterprise applications such as Windows based desktop computing, O365, CRM / ERP tools like Peoplesoft, and collaboration tools SharePoint or MS Teams.
- Experience working escalated trouble tickets and providing executive IT support
- Preferred certification: - Security + Certification - Network + Certification - MCSE Certification - Life Cycle Management - Lab operations - Cybersecurity - ITIL 4 Certifications
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Able to communicate technical ideas and concepts to a non-technical audience. Prior experience providing technical support to both technical and now-technical users (including executive level).
- Experience prioritizing trouble tickets and conflicting task
- Good coaching and mentoring skills

The likely salary range for this position is $100,000 - $150,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
