This opportunity is 100% remote! Candidate MUST reside in the United States.
The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of related work experience administering, supporting, and reporting on Information Security systems and supporting the development of security controls to protect information from unauthorized modification or loss.
Responsibilities:
• Phishing Training responses
• Phishing Email inquiry review
• MSSP Tickets and various alerts
• Potential security events/ alerts
• Email Quarantine Monitoring
• Runs requested Email Gateway reports
• Reviews/performs Proxy Unblock Requests
• Supports and works closely with other departments (Incidence Response Coordinator /CID/ Legal/ Physical Security)
Required Skills:
• Ability to triage customer requests, apply playbook driven solutions, initiate potential incident investigations
• Ability to follow process documentation
• Ability to demonstrate basic Information Security concepts
• Critical thinking/ troubleshooting skills
Preferred Skills:
• Basic Splunk software skills
• Basic proxy software skills
• Previous job experience that required handling incoming requests (ex - IT Help Desk , IT tech, IT role)
• Experience with various ticketing Systems (ex- Remedy, Service Now)
