YOU
The Information Security Administrator role reports to the Manager, Information Security Operations, and will be a key member of the Simpson Strong-Tie Information Security team. You will be one of the technical Security Administrators assisting and driving the daily security activities and strategies of the Information Security Program at Simpson. This is a hands-on technical position has responsibilities including management of daily operations, alerts, and tickets, and aiding the management and compliance teams in monitoring the enterprise for vulnerabilities, risks and continually maturing the Information Security program.
You will provide strong direction, guidance, and contribute to the overall Simpson Information Security program. You will need to be self-motivated and have a deep understanding of Information Security and compliance across various enterprise system disciplines. You must also have a strong business acumen, strong relationship building skills and excellent communication skills.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING (% of Time)
Support the workloads for the Security Operations team, including management of alerts, notification, performance and endpoint protection tools and threat hunting services (65%).
Maintain and support implementation of the Information Security programs, solutions, strategy, and services. (15%)
Maintain and support implementation of the information technology cloud programs, solutions, strategy, and security services. (15%)
Audit, confirm and ensure IT compliance with controls of the Information Security framework adopted by Simpson (5%).
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience required.
- 1+ years of progressively evolving experience with Information Security, risk management, compliance, and privacy of non-public personal data.
- 5+ years of experience with IT security and privacy risk assessments and audits of IT general security controls.
- Writing Skills: Ability to write in a clear, concise, organized, and convincing manner for the intended audience.
- Speaking Skills: Ability to effectively present information to large or small groups including management, clients, and other employees.
- Problem Solving: Ability to identify options for creatively solving a problem. Proactively anticipate problems and correct situations.
- Teamwork: Ability to work to build consensus within stakeholder groups and the department.
- Self-Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and compete priorities. Ability to set priorities, goals, and timetables to achieve maximum productivity. Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Staff Management: Ability to establish an effective, professional, and positive relationship with staff.

Pay
$71500 - $111500 / year
- Posted pay range is based upon national average and may vary depending on geographical work location.
