The Maintenance Mechanic position is responsible for maintaining equipment and the facility to keep it in working order.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance (PM's) on equipment.
Make necessary repairs and adjustments on machines and equipment to minimize downtime and maximize equipment efficiency.
Monitor equipment status and when necessary participate in equipment overhauls.
Analyzes equipment to improve efficiency, safety, and quality.
Maintain legible, neat and accurate records, documentation, reports.
Complete maintenance work orders as assigned.
Perform preventative maintenance and lubrication schedules.
Document work completion and part usage accurately.
Attend to emergency breakdowns and problems concerning safety.
Must demonstrate leadership skills and behavior to work effectively in a team.
Perform all other duties as assigned by the manager or maintenance planner.
- Welding experience preferred.
- Strong planning, organizational, and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs as needed.
