Law Office of Isabel M. Martinez is a fast-pace boutique law firm located in Miramar, FL. We handle cases of Deportation Defense, Family Petitions, Citizenships, Waivers, Consular Process, Adjustment of Status, Cuban Adjustment Act, Defensive Asylum, Affirmative Asylums, Cancellation of Removals, Special Travel Permits, Humanitarian Paroles, Parole-in -place, Employment Authorizations, L1 Visas, O Visas, U Visas, T Visas, Fiancee Visas, TPS, DACA, Fiancee Visas, VAWA, Bond/Detainee cases, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with the preparation and filing of immigration petitions, applications, and supporting documents
- Conduct legal research on immigration laws, regulations, and procedures.
- Prepare and draft legal documents, including affidavits, declarations, and briefs.
- Manage case files and maintain accurate records of client information.
- Coordinate with clients to gather necessary documentation and information.
- Answer the phones and follow up with clients.
- Prepare and submit immigration forms and applications to government agencies.
- Assist in the preparation of evidence for immigration hearings and court proceedings.
- Keep calendar reminders updated.
- Keep the case reminders on time.

Qualifications:
- Bilingual English and Spanish REQUIRED
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Immigration Paralegal REQUIRED
- Knowledge of immigration laws, regulations, and procedures REQUIRED
- Knowledge on Immigration Court Procedures and Filings REQUIRED
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
- Fast learner.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
