This position is a full time hourly and benefited position. Hours are Monday- Friday 9-5
This position is responsible for supporting the administrative operations of the IBHS Program and managing the office.
Essential Duties:
- Serves as receptionist at the program; greets visitors; answers the telephone and face-to-face requests from staff, families, and external agencies; directs inquiries to appropriate parties.
- Completes chart audits on a regular basis to ensure compliance, including initial chart audits.
- Process files for archiving upon discharge from the program in the time frame stated in agency policies.
- Maintains IBHS psychologist/evaluator schedules; contacts families to remind them of upcoming appointments as needed.
- Provides support to IBHS staff as needed.
- Updates software system with all changes in child-related demographic information, admissions, and discharges, upon notification of such changes.
- Maintains inventory and supplies for the program; reports any maintenance issues.
- Process invoices of IBHS staff (BHT, BCs, and MTs) on a regular basis; works with Finance Department and Clinicians to ensure proper payment and billing.
Education/Training: A high school diploma or equivalent with an emphasis in business curriculum.
Skill(s): Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills; proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills; knowledge of office operations; knowledge of medical insurance and co-pay/deductibles; thorough knowledge of related standards, regulations, and procedures; proficient PC skills, including Microsoft Office software; demonstrated supervisory skills; visual and auditory skills; valid driver's license.
Experience: A minimum of five (5) years' related experience normally required.
