DUTIES:
- Oversee the short and long term growth and operations for the following areas: Guest Services (including Bell Staff, Valet, Welcome Gate, VIP Ambassadors, Concierge, Door Staff, and Transportation);
- Maximize rooms revenue through participating in yield management meetings and implementing Supporting agreed upon revenue management strategies and practices
- Provide detailed information to guests in regard to resort services, facilities, dining options, activities, and local attractions.
- Observe and monitor staff performance to ensure efficient operations and adherence to facility's policies and procedures.
- Evaluate staffing levels in accordance with business demand.
- Train staff members, supervise and monitor performance of a team between 50 – 80 associates, including Front Office Manager, Transportation Managers, Lead Doorman, Lead Butler,Lead Shuttle Driver and Welcome Gate Agent.
- Respond to inquiries pertaining to hotel policies and services, and resolve occupants' complaints. Handle guest concerns and react quickly, tracking and notifying proper areas to guarantee memorable moments for our guests.
- Analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
- Support the Director of Front Office to reach departmental goals (focused on employee, guest, brand and standards). Achieve consistency on obtaining 22 Forbes stars in the resort.
- Build relationships with department heads to foster successful inter-departmental communication.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- BA in Management Hotel or Business Management or related.
- 2 years’ experience in any capacity in hotel industry.
- 1 year experience in training new staff and working in luxury 5 stars hotels or AAA Diamond hotels.
- 3 months work experience with the following property management systems: Visual Host or OPERA, HOTSOS, VingCard Vision, Microsoft Excel, Seven Rooms, Cisco Hunt / Navis– Phone System Work schedule varies and may include working on holidays, weekends and alternate shifts.
- Drug screening and background check is required prior to hire.
