Overview:
Are you outgoing, fun-loving, highly motivated, enjoy working as a team and like problem solving? We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team with these qualities. As the Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of HR operations and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations while helping us keep the workplace a place people enjoy coming to. This is a key leadership role that requires strong communication, problem-solving, organizational skills and most importantly, people skills.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and training and development.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements and best practices.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement in HR processes.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including employee benefits, compensation, and leave policies.
- Handle employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
- Oversee the administration of payroll and benefits programs using Ease or similar software.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement employee engagement initiatives.
- Conduct regular audits of HR processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in employment laws.
- Work with our payroll department to keep employee data up to date and accurate.
- Oversee and track apprenticeship enrollment and attendance in CITC.
- Planning of company events.
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field (a combination of education and experience will be considered).
- Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Ease) for data collection and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated experience in conflict management and resolution.
- Experience conducting employee evaluations and performance management processes.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
