Job Description
We seek a skilled and experienced HR Manager to oversee the planning and implementation of our HR management and development strategies. This role encompasses various crucial aspects, including recruitment, selection, discipline, grievance handling, counseling, compensation, training, employee morale, culture, performance appraisals, and quality management systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Legal Compliance: Ensure compliance with legal requirements and government regulations related to HR functions. Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and reporting systems in accordance with these regulations.
Recruitment and Selection: Lead the recruitment process, including interviewing, assessing, and selecting candidates for vacant positions. Conduct comprehensive new employee orientations to instill a positive company attitude.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of employee benefits, personnel transactions, performance reviews, and other HR-related data for government reporting.
Training and Development: Coordinate management training programs covering various HR aspects such as hiring, terminations, promotions, performance reviews, safety, and harassment prevention.
Employee Relations: Guide department managers on HR matters. Resolve employee relations issues effectively and advise management on appropriate resolutions.
Compliance and Equity: Administer performance review and salary administration programs to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within the organization. Monitor benefit programs and investigate accidents, preparing reports for insurance purposes.
Exit Procedures: Manage employee separations, including preparing necessary documentation and conducting exit interviews to understand the reasons behind separations.
Reporting and Recommendations: Prepare detailed reports on HR metrics and recommend procedures to reduce absenteeism and turnover. Represent the organization at personnel-related hearings and investigations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources and at least five years of HR Management experience or ten years of relevant experience in place of a degree.
- SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management) is a big plus
- HRIS management experience
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills
- Strong leadership skills
