How You'll Perform the Role
The Human Resources Intern will learn and assist with day-to-day Human Resources functions to include:
- Auditing files
- Recruiting
- Onboarding
- Training
- Employee relations and HR specific projects (depending on interests)
What We Need From You
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.
- Interest in working with human resource information software and propensity to adapt to technology easily.
- Excellent communication skills for presenting ideas, points of view and recommendations to management.
- Thirst for knowledge and ability to articulate needs and influence decision making
- Strong analytical and evaluation skills.
- Project management skills a plus.
- Ability to take direction and then work independently to achieve goals.
- Ability to maintain confidential information is a requirement.
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and have proof of citizenship or the appropriate US work status documentation.
- Successful completion of a drug test and background check will be required.
- Bilingual strongly preferred
Preferred majors:
Rising Juniors or Seniors obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, and/or business-related field
