Human Resources Intern

Responsibilities:

The Human Resources Intern will assist the Human Resource department with a wide range of projects and tasks related to recruiting, onboarding, compensation, training and development, and employee engagement.

Summer Internship Outline:

• Compensation: $18/hr
• Training
  • Learn to utilize the company Learning Management System, Culligan University
  • Coordinate/Administer the summer eLearning Training competition
  • Support daily administration of Culligan University eLearning system
• Onboarding
  • Learn Culligan’s onboarding philosophy
  • Shadow first day orientations
  • Assist with onboarding coordination and first day material preparation
• Compensation
  • Learn Culligan’s Compensation philosophy
  • Assist HRBP’s with Market Data research
• Recruitment
  • Learn Culligan’s hiring process
  • Learn to post jobs, source candidates, and move them through the hiring process
  • Assist in the recruiting process by posting job openings, reviewing resumes and coordinating interviews
• Employee Engagement
  • Assist with planning the Annual Summer Picnic
  • Assist with employee engagement and soliciting employee feedback through Club Culligan
  • Learn about Culligan’s Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and be an active member and advocate
• Administration
  • Organize and manage the review and updating of employee data
  • Review and update HR Policies and Procedures
  • Perform various functions within each discipline of the Human Resources department
  • Other projects or tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• Junior or Senior working towards Bachelor’s degree in HR or other related field
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Experience in an office environment is a plus
