Responsibilities:
The Human Resources Intern will assist the Human Resource department with a wide range of projects and tasks related to recruiting, onboarding, compensation, training and development, and employee engagement.
Summer Internship Outline:
- Compensation: $18/hr
- Training
- Learn to utilize the company Learning Management System, Culligan University
- Coordinate/Administer the summer eLearning Training competition
- Support daily administration of Culligan University eLearning system
- Onboarding
- Learn Culligan’s onboarding philosophy
- Shadow first day orientations
- Assist with onboarding coordination and first day material preparation
- Compensation
- Learn Culligan’s Compensation philosophy
- Assist HRBP’s with Market Data research
- Recruitment
- Learn Culligan’s hiring process
- Learn to post jobs, source candidates, and move them through the hiring process
- Assist in the recruiting process by posting job openings, reviewing resumes and coordinating interviews
- Employee Engagement
- Assist with planning the Annual Summer Picnic
- Assist with employee engagement and soliciting employee feedback through Club Culligan
- Learn about Culligan’s Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and be an active member and advocate
- Administration
- Organize and manage the review and updating of employee data
- Review and update HR Policies and Procedures
- Perform various functions within each discipline of the Human Resources department
- Other projects or tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Junior or Senior working towards Bachelor’s degree in HR or other related field
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Experience in an office environment is a plus
