Job Description
As an Intern in the Human Resources department, you will gain a realistic job preview of Human Resources in a business. Responsibilities will be of a generalist nature providing administrative support to the HR team (Compensation, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, and Compliance). Tasks may include but are not limited to updating internal teammate databases, data entry, filing, new hire onboarding, and assisting in organizing company events and culture initiatives.
This is a paid Internship position with the Human Resources department at InnovaFlex and is designed for a student who is currently enrolled in a Human Resources degree seeking program, ideally at their junior or senior year level. This position will be based on-site at our Colorado Springs, CO. facility. Minimum Qualifications Required:
Be a student who is enrolled and pursuing a degree from an accredited college/university in Spring 2024
Currently in pursuit of a degree in Human Resources, major or minor
Major Responsibilities:
Assist with the day-to-day efficient operation of the HR department.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and protect HR/Payroll information.
Become familiar with company policies, company procedures, and documentation to assist teammates with routine questions.
Attend HR team meetings.
Partner with the HR Team on efforts relating to filling open positions including but not limited to candidate matrix creation, resume reviews, scheduling interviews, posting jobs, and processing background checks.
Work on updating and maintaining reports.
Support for New Teammate Orientation.
Provide admin support to Payroll and Benefits processes.
Understands the overall concept of the company, including the brand and values, customer, and product.
Complete an internship project. Create an Internship Purpose and Learning outcomes presentation. This will be presented to the senior leadership team at the end of the internship.
