GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Human Resources Generalist shall be responsible for maintaining and managing personnel records of individuals and staff of Heavenly Hands, Inc., hiring for open positions, and delivering staff training. This position shall maintain the confidentiality and security of records; Have knowledge of DBHDS (Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services) Office of Licensing, the Office of Human Rights and Medicaid Waiver Regulations, and maintain a proactive Risk Management Program that complies with the provisions of federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

Exceptional customer service skills, over the phone and in person with individual, Authorized Representative (AR), Support Coordinator (SC)
MAJOR DUTIES:
Ensure that orientation is provided for all new individuals and their families, legal guardian, or authorized representative.
Ensure that orientation and training is provided for all new employees, contractors and that continued staff training is provided and maintained in accordance with DBHDS Licensure and Human Rights Standards and Regulations
Review of employment records of all new employees to ensure required background checks were completed.
Review of training records to ensure that all staff completed the required training.
Review of policies and procedures related to high-risk procedures (e.g., restraint)
The Human Resources Generalist Shall:
Prepare staff and individual files for new hires, new individuals, 90-day evaluations, annual reviews, and quarterlies.
Update training materials as needed.
Manage, file, and organize filing system.
Help prepare reports, presentations, and data.
Type meeting minutes, documents, drafts, and reports.
Prepare and research information for company executives as needed.
Assist in planning and organizing company Marketing events or special projects.
Create/Review/reply to emails.
Prepare and/or conduct training as needed for staff.
Schedule annual and new hire training.
Track expiration dates and request updated documents as needed.
Prepare testing packets as needed for new hires and annual reviews.
Post openings as needed, setup interviews, conduct interviews.
Manage organization of staff and individual files after hiring, annuals, and intakes
Organize and maintain office public areas.
Update paperwork - maintain documents.
Create and maintain information entered in databases/systems.
Scan, print, fax, and mail documents.
Assist in resolving any administrative problems.
Return, answer agency calls.
Schedule and coordinate meetings and appointments.
Provide support to Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Risk Manager, Senior Director, and Qualified Developmental Disability Professional (QDDP) of the agency.
Able to work with little to no supervision after training is completed.
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Baccalaureate degree in the field of human services or related field REQUIRED.
1 year of work experience in Human Resources

Salary: $55,000 - $60,000 annually
