A successful Payroll Generalist will have a high level of personal time management, organizational skills, the ability to manage and prioritize daily workflow and additional tasks as they come, the ability to make decisions and apply procedural principles to new and repetitive daily tasks, curiosity about questions and problems with a willingness to reach the end of their own knowledge and resources in answering questions and resolving problems, practical understanding of when to ask for help and/or request a review of their work by another team member or leader, and an ability to communicate with clients and colleagues in a clear, concise, complete, compassionate, and customer friendly manner.
