JOB DEFINITION:
- The Human Resources Generalist Assists the Executive Director with the day-to-day operations of the Human Resource functions and the administration of the Human Resources policies, procedures and programs. The HR Generalist carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS, onboarding, evaluation system, and reporting), employee relations and assist with recruitment administrative functions.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:*

- Maintains employee-related databases, personnel records, including the reflection of New Personnel (Employees, Interns, Temps), Promotions, Transfer, and Terminations
- Schedules benefits orientations and other benefits training needed for new hires and current employees.
- Complete onboarding procedures for New Hires, Interns and volunteers
- Generate Forms and Paperwork
- Coordinates assignment of computers, email addresses and phone extensions; ensures distribution of information to relevant parties
- Create ID Badges
- Conduct Day 1 Orientation
- Create, generate and track forms that are to be completed by Managers and Employee personnel.
- Create forms/paperwork, distribute, and track for New Hires, Transfers, Resignations and Terminations to ensure that all necessary paperwork is routed to the correct personnel
- Maintains tracking of Open Positions including excel reporting, posting/removing positions as needed from Indeed, Handshake and utilizing Diversity Jobs
- Maintain COVID documentation and reporting
- Create PowerPoints, organization charts, videos, constant contact email blast and any other media that may be needed for the program/agency including but not limited to the Employees on the Move announcements, hiring advertisements and bi-monthly Agency Newsletter.
- Coordinate and organize the onboarding process for Student Internship applicants and necessary documents and correspondence from Colleges
- Provide support for internal personnel regarding the use of the Agency's Training/Evaluation System.
- Complete Open House procedures including advertising materials, scheduling applicants, updating indeed ads with registration information.
- Participate in Job Fairs as required
- Maintain and record the distribution/returns of the agency's property to personnel.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:*
- Bachelors' degree and/or equivalent work experience. Strong organizational skills and Advanced Computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Office applications. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
