Overview
The core mission of the Human Resources Generalist ("HR Generalist") is to champion team member engagement, streamline HR processes, work to improve HR metrics, enhance workforce retention, manage HR compliance risk, and ensure regulation compliance.
Responsibilities
- Maintains healthy partner relationships with internal business partners.
- Consults with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.
- Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
- Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.
- Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
- Manage the day-to-day administrative HR functions.
- Proactively recruit for open positions and maintain an active pool of qualified candidates for quick growth ability.
- Maintain ongoing relationships with employment agencies.
- Continuously improve onboarding processes to create a one-of-a-kind experience.
- Partner with our team members to make our culture come to life through employee engagement initiatives and programs.
- Assit Talent Acquisition with non-exempt recruiting process through our applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Assist with hiring events to include job fairs, community events, etc.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Seven to ten years of HR experience or Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
- Understanding of HR policies, procedures, best practices, and current regulations and advising on such autonomously.
- Sound judgment and problem-solving skills, especially in ambiguous circumstances.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Highly organized.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and SharePoint.
