RbM Services is looking for an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join its team within our manufacturing plant located in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. The Human Resources Generalist is focused on recruiting, new employee on-boarding, payroll, file maintenance, and employee relations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 5+ Years’ experience in a Human Resources role.
- Expertise in recruiting and hiring.
- Proficient in employee timekeeping and payroll processing
- Familiarity with new employee onboarding and offboarding terminated employees.
- Knowledge of and ability to research regulatory compliance questions or issues.
- Absolute understanding and 100% compliance with maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive employee payroll and other personal information.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Responsibilities Include
- Coordinate recruiting efforts including generating job descriptions, posting open positions on various job boards, screening applicants, administering pre-employment testing, scheduling applicant interviews with the hiring managers, following up with candidates as needed, and generating offer letters.
- Travel to and participate in job fairs.
- New employee onboarding and terminated employee offboarding.
- Prepare biweekly payroll using Sage Payroll software.
- Benefits administration.
- Point person for employee questions about company policies, payroll, and benefits.
- Salary and benefits review for competitiveness in marketplace.
- Organize the annual employee performance review process.
- Maintain physical and digital files for employees and their documents.
- Process employee change notices.
- Update Employee Handbook as needed.
- Research regulatory compliance questions and issues.
- Promote company initiatives.
- Generate employee correspondence on relevant company issues.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
