Job Title: HR Generalist

Salary: $31.25 - $36.05/hour
The Opportunity:
The HR Generalist serves as the first point of contact to employees working closely with the team to support all areas within HR. The role interacts with employees across the Employee Lifecycle (ELC) with core functions in payroll, benefits, and leaves of absences.
How I will Contribute:
- Processes weekly payroll in ADP and inputs data on internal audit spreadsheets to ensure quality control. Verifies time and attendance and resolves discrepancies.
- Administers all employee benefits programs.
- Reconciles medical, dental, vision, and life insurance benefits on a monthly basis ensuring invoices are accurate while cross-referencing with payroll reports.
- Serves as a first point of contact in answering various HR questions to include benefits, policies, handbook, leaves of absences, payroll, etc.
- Ensures a positive experience in interacting with new hires in the preboarding process through orientation after start.
- Creates and maintains electronic employee records.
- Serves as HRIS administrator ensuring accuracy of data entered, pulling reports, and assigning users. Processes status changes including benefits enrollments, changes, and terminations.
- Works with the HRBP in the administration of various leaves of absences and accommodation requests.
- Conducts exit interviews and provides quarterly reports with trend data.
- Supports the hiring of interns across all departments including posting, sourcing, interviewing, and partnering with local schools.
- Collaborates with HR team in company-wide initiatives and projects to include annual performance evaluations, goal-setting, bonus/merit notifications, training and organizational development activities, OFCCP compliance, and other projects as needed.
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to job function.
- Performs other related duties, projects, and initiatives as assigned.

What You Bring to Safran Federal Systems:
- Minimum of four years of experience with payroll processing and HR generalist experience (ADP strongly preferred).
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field is required.
- Prior experience with OFCCP strongly preferred.
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail, time management, and proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated professionalism in all interactions to include maintaining confidentiality.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite with demonstrated expertise in using advanced functions.
