Human Resources Generalist/ Executive Assistant
Our Client is a dynamic and rapidly growing distributed digital health Seed Stage start-up company seeking an experienced HR Generalist/Executive Assistant to join their team. As a key player in their organization, you will have the opportunity to contribute to various facets of Human Resources management while also providing payroll and high-level executive support. This is a Reno, NV based hybrid role
What You'll Do:
- HR Compliance and Employee Relations: Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on HR issues, ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations and company policies. Handle employee relations matters with professionalism and confidentiality. May assist with on boarding and off boarding.
- Administrative Support: Manage executive calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements. Assist with professional business writing tasks, including drafting emails, memos, and reports.
- Time and Expense Management: Review submitted time sheets, vacation requests, and expense reports for accuracy and compliance. Ensure timely processing and documentation of all relevant data.
- Payroll and Benefits Administration: Collaborate with the Executive team to facilitate salary negotiations, administer benefits programs (via PEO), and oversee payroll processes (via PEO). Maintain accurate records and address employee inquiries regarding compensation and benefits.
- Executive Assistance: Provide comprehensive support to the CEO and COO, including preparing presentations, reports, and correspondence using software tools such as PowerPoint and Excel. Handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency enhancements within HR and Executive support functions. Implement best practices and contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
- Office Management: Collect the mail, mail out checks, answer phones and mail out brochures. Work front-desk as needed.
About You:
- 2+ years experience in HR compliance and employee relations, required
- Administrative, Executive Assistant, or calendaring experience, preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, preferred.
- Strong understanding of payroll processes, benefits administration, and salary negotiation techniques.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in professional business writing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Proficiency with Canva.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Salary: $70,000-$80,000 plus stock options
