Who We’re Looking For:
As a key member of the Human Resources team, the HR Generalist will provide support to the US Sales, Marketing, Finance, and IT teams by working on the development, implementation, and administration of all aspects of HR. Reporting to the HR Manager, the Generalist will support talent acquisition, HRIS, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and compliance.
About the Role:
- Lead the recruitment process for all Finance, IT, Marketing, and select sales positions; guide managers through the hiring process, actively use social media to recruit top talent and build pipelines of qualified candidates.
- Ensure compliance with country regulations concerning all aspects of employment, make sure changes to employee profiles are properly reported and submitted to payroll, maintain employee data in compliance with data privacy standards.
- Develop relationships with managers and employees to become first point of contact, provide guidance on employee relation issues, ensure procedures are properly followed; remain up to date on legislation and make appropriate recommendations to policies and procedures as required.
- Manage the employee exit process, ensure termination procedure is properly completed and applicable departments are notified as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Labor Relations or related field.
- 3+ years’ experience in an HR Advisor/Generalist role.
- U.S. employment law and legislation knowledge required.
- Practical decision-making ability in complex situations; ability to work independently and maintain professionalism in all situations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Talent acquisition experience including sourcing and interviewing.
- Experience with remote or sales teams.
