E4H Architecture is seeking applicants for a Human Resources Generalist to join our team. This role will provide support to HR operations including employee support, staffing, manager resources, benefit and leave programs to deliver the highest level of support to employees.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide best in class service to employees.
- Assist with the facilitation of the personal professional development program.
- Act as primary employee contact for employee benefit inquiries.
- Track, report, and train employees on FMLA.
- Ensure accurate employee benefit deductions.
- Assist the talent management team with phone screenings, data management, and interview coordination.
- Coordinate with local office management to facilitate employee onboarding experience - pre-arrival preparation, benefits, and Human Resources new hire procedures.
- Develop and maintain job descriptions.
- Develop, track, and conduct manager training on platform resources.
- Maintain management documentation system.
- Maintain current employee personnel files.
- Develop and maintain current content for the Employee Resource Center.
- Assist with employee offboarding.
- Collaborate with the Human Resources Manager to plan wellness events and initiatives.
- Assist with health and safety communications and record keeping.
- Review and approve timesheets and expense reports.
- Assist with the renewal of annual AIA memberships.
- Various tasks and projects to support daily operations of the Human Resources team.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
- 3-4 years of related experience in similar role
- Human resources certification preferred: SHRM-CP, SHRM- SCP, PHR, or PHRca
- Demonstrate excellent attention to detail
- Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies
- Experience with multi-state compliance is preferred
