Eccovia is seeking a Data Science Generalist with expert Python knowledge, exceptional coding practices, and a rigorous understanding of Data Science principles to join our dynamic team. We are at the forefront of leveraging analytics to empower businesses with actionable insights. As a key member of our Data Science unit, you will take the lead in analyzing complex data, developing innovative analytical and ML solutions, and effectively communicating findings to stakeholders across various divisions and to external stakeholders.

What You’ll Do
- Employ engineering design patterns and data modeling to write exceptional, maintainable Python code for scalable solutions.
- Work within a team environment using Git, championing best practices in collaborative code development.
- Apply statistical models and machine learning algorithms to dissect and interpret sophisticated datasets.
- Communicate intricate analytic concepts to a diverse audience with clarity and confidence.
- Drive innovation and push the boundaries of traditional Data Science by integrating advanced AI technologies like OpenAI into our data processes with a creative approach to problem-solving.
What You’ll Need
- Solid Python programming expertise with exceptional coding practices, preferably (but not essential) supported by a GitHub profile or portfolio showcasing your skills and creativity.
- Knowledge of engineering design patterns, data modeling, and the creation of extensible and scalable systems.
- Strong foundation in Data Science, analytics, statistics, and machine learning, with the ability to distill large datasets into clear, actionable insights.
- Aptitude for clear data visualization and the communication of technical findings to varied audiences.
- Creative and passionate approach to Data Science, aiming to craft innovative solutions that leverage data for social good and positively impact people's lives.
- Familiarity with PySpark and MLFlow packages is preferred, but not essential.
