SARSTEDT, a leading manufacturer and distributor of blood collection and medical devices, laboratory consumables and instrumentation, seeks a HR Generalist for its US Headquarter.
Summary
Support and administer all aspects of Human Resources directives and projects to positively impact the organizations culture, employees and growth.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as apparent or required by management.
- Maintain knowledge of current legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting Human Resources functions and ensure policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.
- Manage all aspects of talent acquisition including job postings, interviewing, applicable pre-employment testing, hiring, orientation and onboarding. Responsible for maintaining records of benefits plans participation, personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, separations, and employee statistics for required government reporting.
- Deliver training to management and employees as required.
- Advise management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.
- Respond to management and employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
- Maintain the internal Human Resources database to ensure all employee data is current and accurate.
- Investigate work-related accidents and handle Workers Compensation related matters Attend job fairs and career events, representing the company in a professional and positive manner.
- Responsible for the maintenance of all online job boards as well as the Company's Corporate Talent Network page.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field from a four-year college or university; and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Previous experience in Human Resources required.
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
SHRM or HRCI certification preferred.
