Animal Caretaker

Duties:
- Provide daily care and maintenance for animals in the facility
- Feed and water animals according to their specific dietary needs
- Clean and sanitize animal enclosures, including cages, kennels, and play areas
- Monitor the health and well-being of animals and report any concerns to the supervisor
- Administer medications or treatments as directed by the veterinarian
- Assist with grooming and bathing of animals, including brushing, nail trimming, and ear cleaning
- Provide exercise and enrichment activities for animals to promote physical and mental stimulation

Skills:
- Ability to handle animals with care and compassion
- Strong attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Good communication skills to effectively interact with team members and pet owners
- Physical stamina to handle the physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects and standing for long periods of time

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
