Due to continued growth, we are looking for an enthusiastic team member to fill the additional position of Human Resources Generalist. This is an excellent opportunity for a person who can thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision, a positive attitude, and a sense of urgency. What you will do:
Assisting with recruiting of hourly and salary employees (lots of smiling!)
Onboarding and training
Employee engagement and special events (we really are a fun bunch)
Enroll employees in benefit plans and become an integral part of open enrollment team
Enter and maintain all personnel and payroll data into the HCM systems
Daily monitoring and correction of hourly time and attendance information
Process bi-weekly payroll for approx. 200 employees with 100% accuracy (detail-oriented folks, this is your time to shine!)
Process VOE's and other payroll related requests
Process child support and other garnishments
Respond to payroll and benefit related inquiries from employees
Respond to labor reporting requests from management
Assist with conflict resolution and terminations
Assist with Workers’ Compensation Claims and Injury reporting
Ensure that end of the year W-2, ACA and EEOC reporting is timely and accurate
The normal schedule for this position is Monday- Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm
What you can offer:
Bachelor’s Degree, required
3+ years of Human Resource, time and attendance, and benefit specific experience
Experience in a 24/7 Manufacturing environment is desired and is a PLUS!
Strength of character including trustworthiness, dependability, and integrity
Positive, enthusiastic, and collaborative attitude (teamwork makes the dream work)
Attention to detail and strong commitment to accuracy
Ability to maintain strict sense of discretion and confidentiality
Advanced Microsoft Office skills (We hope you love Excel as much as we do!)
Effective cross functional written and verbal communication
Experience working with people from diverse cultural backgrounds
Ability to work in a 24/7 – 365 environment (hey we're flexible, but you need to be too)
