We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic Bi-lingual (English & Spanish) HR Generalist (HRG) to join our team in NYC. The HRG will play a crucial role in supporting the Human Resources department by carrying out various administrative tasks, facilitating employee relations, and ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes. Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, oversee all job postings, and participate in the recruitment process.
- Coordinate and conduct new employee orientations in English and Spanish, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
- Assist employees with benefit-related inquiries and guide them through the enrollment process.
- Maintain accurate records of employee information and documentation.
Employee Relations:
- Act as the primary point of contact for employees regarding HR-related queries and concerns.
- Assist in the resolution of employee relations issues, fostering a positive work environment.
- Support HR Director with internal investigations as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including all related documentation and essential details.
- Generate reports and analyze HR metrics to provide insights for decision making.
HR Policies and Compliance:
- Stay updated on employment laws and regulations, ensuring HR policies and practices are in compliance.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Conduct HR audits to ensure compliance.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of progressive responsibility in a Human Resources function.
- English and Spanish Written Communication - Writes clearly and informatively; Varies writing style to meet needs; Presents numerical data effectively; Able to read and interpret written information.
- English and Spanish Verbal Communication - Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; Listens and gets clarification; Responds well to questions; Demonstrates group presentation skills; Participates in meetings.
- Technical Skills: Must be proficient in MS Excel and Word, HRIS - ADP Total source a plus, Harri a plus.
