Job Purpose:
Position is responsible for assisting the Human Resources Manager – U.S. in managing, supporting, and maintaining all HR processes.
HR Administration:
- Provide support to managers and employees across the organization on employee relations and organizational matters including - performance assessments and management, corrective actions, dispute resolution, compensation and classification, retention, and organizational structure.
- Manage ViskoTeepak’s Talent Acquisition; ensure Applicant Tracking System (Newton) is current with open positions; coordinate, schedule, and conduct candidate interviews, create offer letters, perform background checks, drug testing (Accurate) and E-Verify.
- Provide training to all managers on Time & Attendance in Paycor
- Manage and coordinate Concur expense and travel programs.
- Maintain employee documentation within HRIS (Human Resources Information System) Paycor
- Coordinate employee luncheons, training, and outings.
- Manage ViskoTeepak’s Enrichment Team to coordinate and execute employee engagement events.
- Oversee the orientation and onboarding of new employees on policies, procedures, and core values to improve operational effectiveness across the organization.
- Assist Human Resources Manager – U.S. with organizational compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation.
- Partner with Human Resources Manager – U.S. with benefits administration
- Assist in the coordination and execution of employee training programs
- Serve as the back up payroll processor at ViskoTeepak and help ensure accuracy and confidentiality of payroll information.
Qualifications, Skills and Abilities:
- 1-2 years of experience in Human Resources
- 1-2 years of experience in full cycle recruiting
- Knowledge of or previous experience utilizing an HRIS and Applicant Tracking system - preferably Paycor
- Thorough knowledge of employment related laws and regulations
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent organizational, time and project management skills with attention to detail
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
