SalaryAtlas Molded Products, (a division of Atlas Roofing Corporation)is seeking aHuman Resources Generalistfor theFond du Lac, WI facility.
The Human Resource Generalist supports company initiatives by administering HR policies,procedures,and programs, and coordinating day to day HR activities in designated business units, and overseeing corporate projects, as requested.This position reports to, and works closely with, the Senior HR Manager.
The Human Resources Generalist may provide multi-site support.While mostly a consistent schedule, some flexibility is required as this position supports 2 shifts daily, as well as other locations in differenttime zones.
Human Resources Generalist Duties and Responsibilities:

- Conducts recruitment efforts: including writing and placing job advertisements, screening,interviewing,andassistingwith the selection process.Also works with agencies for temp placements across facilities.
- Conducts new hire and benefits orientations. Processes paperwork and addresses employees' questions about benefits,payroll,and company policies.
- Processes and administers FMLA and ADA requests, in conjunction with AMPs third party provider.
- Monitorsandassistswith theperformance evaluation program.
- Providesguidance to managers on theappropriate useof company policies. Acts as a witness and documentsmeetingsas necessary.
- Investigates employee relation issues such as complaints and allegations of harassment, discrimination, and violations of company policy.Interview subjects, collect evidence andwritereportsas necessary.
- Conducts exit interviews and analyzes data to make recommendations for improving retention.
- Maintains the HRIS records and compiles reports from the database.
- Maintains HRfilesin accordance withcompany policy and applicable State and Federal laws and regulations.
- Conducts training, as needed, for all on-sight personnel at locations for which s/he has oversight.
- Tracks compensation and turnover at locations for which s/he has oversite.
- Attends meetings and seminars;works cooperatively with other departments.
- Activelyparticipateson various committees asrequested.
- Performs audits and ensurescompliancewithinthe department.
- Can generate reports, interpret data, and complete monthly HR metrics.
- Leads andcoordinatesemployee engagementprogram on monthly basis.
- Assistswith the company wellness program.
- Managesspecial projects as assigned.
- All other duties as assigned.
Human Resources Generalist Education and Experience:
- A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, or related field and 2years of Human Resource experience; or any combination of education, training or experience thatdemonstratesthe ability to perform the duties of the position.
Human Resources Generalist Preferred Experience and Certification:
- Prior HR generalist experience.
- Prior business experienceand/or manufacturing experience.

Human Resources Generalist Travel:
- Travel is part of this position, up to 10-20% travel timecan be anticipated.
