Job Description
We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our team! You will perform activities in Human Resources from recruiting new hires to retaining existing hires.
Responsibilities:
- Screen, recruit, and interview potential employees
- On-board and train new employees
- Assess potential candidates for fit within positions (skills, education, competency and culture alignment)
- Implement company culture, values and policies
- Provide management with requested reports and documents,
- Facilitate scheduled performance review process, providing guidance, tools and training for managers and employees
- Coordinate events focused on employee recognition
- Assist in 401K and benefits enrollment administration
- Accurately maintain employee files
- Payroll
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in Human Resources, recruiting, or other related fields
- a 4 year degree in Human Resources or similar field a plus
- 3-5 years experience in HR position required
- Knowledge of labor and employment laws
- Ability to build rapport with all employees
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to create a working environment of open communications and trust
- Ability to confidentially manage HR, Payroll, and medical related information
- Demonstrate ethical and professional conduct at all times
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
