Saint Clare Newport is currently seeking to hire a full time Human Resource Coordinator. The Human Resource Coordinator will be responsible to oversee and assist in the provision of human resource services which include employee benefits administration, human resource policies, procedures and management systems, as well as other administrative functions pertaining to management or general business of daily operations. This also includes administering and performing payroll functions. The Human Resource Coordinator will also assist the Administrator with performing work of substantial importance in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, to assure that proper administrative procedures are maintained at all times.
Responsibilities:
· Demonstrate the ability to organize, prioritize and coordinate all administrative activities.
· Maintain accurate and organized administrative files, records, license verification, and facility policy books.
· Responds to employee questions and problems pertaining to the eligibility and availability of benefits.
· Maintains facility personnel files, insures the timely completion of all required evaluations and
paperwork, coordinate and manage accurate personnel files.
· Performs payroll functions, secretarial duties, record keeping functions, administrative detail and
follow-up.
· Coordinate Worker’s Compensation and all other in-house insurance programs
· Maintain all regulatory required logs and records
· Supervise the facility reception employees, including interviewing, hiring, disciplining and
terminating employees performing this function.
· Demonstrate leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of an Associates of Science or Business degree with a concentration in Human Resources or experience in an administrative supervisory capacity.
- Min 1 year of experience.
- Knowledgeable of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent customer service orientation.
All newly hired staff at Saint Clare Newport must be fully COVID vaccinated before they begin work.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $41,600.00 per year
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
