Qualifications:
- Payroll software experience preferred
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Strong verbal & written communication and interpersonal skills
- Intermediate experience with MS Excel, MS Outlook, and/or similar programs
Responsibilities:
- Assist multi-state locations with payroll processing.
- Implement and maintain payroll best practices to improve efficiency, ensure data accuracy and prevention of user errors.
- Troubleshoot all payroll-related issues within the payroll system.
- Maintain employee records in payroll system.
- Review and approve payroll-related payments (taxes, deductions, child support, benefits, etc.)
- Work with Payroll system to ensure all taxes for team members and employer codes are set-up in the system correctly
- Adherence to internal company policies
- Produces scheduled and ad-hoc reports pertaining to payroll and human resources requirements.
- Data entry, mail processing, scanning/filing
- Email and telephone correspondence
- Miscellaneous tasks as needed
- Receives monthly invoices from providers (electronically and hard copy) and works with properties to ensure accuracy.
- Works with benefits broker and/or vendors to correct discrepancies, process payments and ensures credits for terminations are received.
