Responsibilities of the Sr. Payroll Coordinator:
- Thoroughly oversee and manage payroll tax obligations for multiple clients, ensuring strict compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Expertly handle the preparation and submission of payroll tax returns, encompassing quarterly and annual filings.
- Remain updated on tax laws and regulations to maintain efficient and compliant payroll systems and processes.
- Promptly address discrepancies or issues related to payroll in an efficient manner.
- Act as the primary contact for client inquiries regarding payroll tax, delivering accurate and timely responses.
- Seamlessly collaborate with various teams, including Payroll Operations and Accounting, to streamline payroll tax procedures.
- Provide support during payroll audits and address inquiries from tax authorities promptly.
Requirements of the Sr. Payroll Coordinator:
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or a related field.
- Previous experience with timekeeping systems like UKG Kronos, ADP WFN, or Paylocity is advantageous.
- Possess 2-3 years of hands-on experience in payroll or payroll tax processing and compliance.
- Demonstrate a strong grasp of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
- Showcase exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills along with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excel in communication and interpersonal capabilities, fostering effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
- Flourish in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment.
- Holding a Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification is a plus.
Salary Range:
$60,000-$80,000 per year
