This position supports and assists the Human Resources team in various Human Resources functions including, but not limited to, conducting new hire orientation, time and attendance administration, benefit administration, employee record maintenance and other related support tasks.
Required work schedule: 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday – Friday. Onsite only- This is not a remote position.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Process and maintain I-9 documents.
- Prepare various reports for HR Team.
- Assisting employees with HR related questions.
- File confidential employee information.
- Coordinates employee events.
- Process unemployment paperwork.
- Open and process all HR mail.
- Issue employee badges.
- Conducts new hire orientations.
- Assists with pre and post hire activities – extending offers, sending out welcome emails.
- Maintain HR Supplies and Forms.
- Answer HR phone and route voicemails.
- Processes verification of employment
- Data entry HRIS System
- Updating training records
Experience requirements:
- High school diploma required. Associate degree preferred.
- 2+ years of HR support experience
- ADP experience a plus.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly.
- Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Proven ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
