Human Resources/Safety Coordinator

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources/Safety Coordinator to join our team. The Coordinator will be responsible for assisting with various HR functions, including talent management, conflict management, and employee evaluation. The ideal candidate will have experience with building and maintaining a safety culture, with-in FCI.

Responsibilities
- Assist with the recruitment and onboarding process, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and conducting initial screenings
- Coordinate employee orientation and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed
- Maintain employee records and update HR databases
- Assist with employee evaluation processes, including scheduling performance reviews and providing feedback to employees
- Handle employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures
- Assist with conflict resolution and provide guidance on employee relations issues
- Support HR initiatives such as employee engagement programs and training initiatives
- Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment and changes to employee benefits plans
- Coordinate HR projects such as organization design and restructuring efforts

- Handle all things related to building a safety culture

Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in a human resources role
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices
- Experience with HR software systems such as Paylocity, UKG

-Experience with Safety 101; committees, investigations,
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
