Reports To:Human Resources Director
Terms of Employment: 12 month, hourly position, nonexempt, 7.5 hours per day
Pay and Benefits: In accordance with the Administrative Professionals Contract, Classification III. Starting pay between $19.26 and $19.92 per hour depending on previous experience and qualifications. Full benefit package.
Primary Objective: The Human Resources Assistant will plan, organize, and assist employees, retirees, and the Human Resources department within the established policies, goals, and philosophies of the district. The position will act in a way as to provide professional administrative services to staff, coworkers, and the community in an efficient, courteous, and timely manner so the overall district objectives may be achieved. The position will look for and implement ways to maintain and improve efficiencies within our processes and systems to assure the smooth and efficient operation of the Human Resources department.

Qualifications:
- Education Required: High School diploma or equivalent, post secondary courses.
- Experience Required: Two years working in a Human Resources department, advanced computer experience, and 3-5 years of previous administrative support.
- Skills Required: Excellent customer service, accuracy and attention to detail, organization, and ability to multitask.
