Job Description

- Associate's degree and two or more years of related work experience in sales, customer service or manufacturing support; or an equivalent level of education and experience
- Demonstrate:
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, customer service and communication skills

- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Access
- Sense of urgency about completing tasks, responding to customers both internal and external; solving issues in a friendly and effective manner
- Understanding of prioritizing tasks
Additional Skills:
- Knowledge and/or experience of aluminum industry a plus
- Knowledge and experience with SAGE accounting software

Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist with incoming phone calls and visitors.
- Enter sales orders in SAGE 50, Access and Excel software.
- Create and print shop paper for each order.
- Acknowledge completed sales orders.
- Handle change orders, remakes and order cancellations.
- Generate customer open orders report (COOR's) weekly.
- Updates and performs maintenance of information in Sage and Access to comply with established standards.
- Back up Responsibilities: Invoicing, REV1
- Handle customer complaints in a professional manner.
- Compiles information and prepares various reports including:
- Bookings Report
- New Parts
- New Customers
- Spot Business Summary
- PPI reporting
- Aluminum Association Monthly and Quarterly Reports
- Orders Metric
- Processes changes and updates to shop paper routings, slab exception list, pallet information, West Virginia shop paper, etc.
- End-of-month (EOM) and End-of-year (EOY) reconciliations & tasks.
- Maintain processes and procedures as defined per ISO.
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Vice President of Sales
