Position Summary:
The HR Assistant is responsible for maintaining all employee information and incorporating the information into the tracking system. They will serve as the go-to resource for any departmental tasks requiring additional assistance from other HR staff.
Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:
- Maintain personnel files according to company policy. This includes keeping all renewable requirements up to date in the HRIS and transferring all employee share drive data to ADP.
- Assist HR Administrator with onboarding and tracking of new hire requirements.
- Act as first line of correspondence for handbook related questions, escalating as necessary.
- Ensure all employee files are Joint Commission ready as well as supporting the branches as the HR contact during last-minute surveys.
- Ensure new and current employees complete mandatory online and annual online training.
- Auditing job postings on ADP and Indeed for accuracy.
- Respond to daily emails in a timely manner.
- Available to assist employees on a daily basis as needed.
- Directs employee, vendor, and other party's inquiries to the correct department.
- Take part in weekly HR & Recruiting Touchpoints with each of the states' managers.
Additional Duties:
- Completing monthly OIG reports and sending out monthly exit interviews, filing the findings where necessary.
- Performs other necessary functions as assigned by the Senior VP of Human Resources.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
1. Minimum of high school education equivalent.
2. General knowledge of typing, mathematics, office machines and computer skills.
3. Personal car for travel and valid driver’s license.
4. Carry personal auto liability insurance coverage.
