Job purpose
This is a temporary position of at least 3 months with the potential to grow into a permanent role. As a Pharmacy Benefits Assistant, you are responsible for supporting the Marketing and CTS departments by assisting in coordinating with Pharmacies, PBMs and necessary vendors to resolve or explain disruption related to prescription drug fills, complete high dollar stop review and override processes, process PBM and Rx Cost containment Invoices, support CTS in helping members navigating Rx Cost Containment services, and act as backup for the Pharmacy Benefits Team.
Duties and responsibilities
Assist in the review and submission of high dollar stop override or denials
Data entry
Work with department to streamline reporting
Support marketing staff and PBM staff
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Necessary qualifications for consideration for the position:
Qualifications include:
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Displayed timeliness
- Displayed ability to meet deadlines and work under high pressure
- Strong multitasking skills with an ability to prioritize multiple prerogatives
- Displayed professional communication (oral and written).
- Displayed confidence in understanding and communicating resources available
- Experience in Microsoft Office software, with an emphasis on Excel and Outlook
Working conditions
Must be able to work in an office environment using computers, phones, and office appliances
and lifting up to 20 pounds with reasonable accommodations. Must be able to sit for extended periods of time. Overtime may be required during heavy renewal months.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
