This exciting position provides a variety of opportunities for growth, development and advancement. Our Human Resources Assistant will be responsible for implementing and maintaining processes in the HR department that help us optimize efficiency and effectiveness. Also be expected to examine departmental policies and procedures on a regular basis, formulate recommendations for improving performance, solve conflicts between staff members, organize staff events and oversee all HR-related documentation.
Responsibilities:
- As a Human Resource Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our HR team in various administrative tasks
- Responsible for the pre-employment process for new hires including recruitment, offer letter, background requests, all onboarding process and software credentials
- Conduct new hire orientation and complete various projects and tasks as requested
- Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, etc
- Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment
- Process employment status changes, including promotions, transfers, separations, and terminations, ensuring accurate and timely completion of all necessary documentation
- Perform other duties as assigned and maintain a clean personal work environment
- Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to maintain confidential information
Requirements:
- Auto dealership experience preferred
- Bilingual-preferred
- 2 years experience in Human resources preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
