We’re looking for a positive and motivated individual to make an impact in this role by providing employee services in the following:
- Talent management – recruiting new hires and managing employee engagement.
- Human capital management– strategize workforce analysis and succession planning, and diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) to meet HR goals.
- Learning and development– educating employees on mandatory, job related, and leadership training so they can grow with the organization and support its objectives.
- Classification and Compensation – Promotes consistency in class descriptions, minimum qualifications, and allocation factors.
- Benefits and Payroll administration – Serve as an expert staff resource responsible for the most difficult and complex benefits payroll issues.
- Compliance – ensuring that policies and procedures follow all applicable federal, state and local regulations.

The position reports to the SCC Headquarters office located in Oakland, CA, and is eligible for a hybrid telework schedule.
The pay range for this position is $5,518.00 – $6,907.00/month.
