Job Description
- Administrative tasks including general mail, background check entry, general filing, new employee setup, data updates for statistical reporting, and payroll copies.
- Maintain employee records and keep employee information up to date in all database systems.
- Support annual projects including but not limited to tracking EAP progress, 90 days reviews, leave of absence documentation, annual account disclosures, handbook update acknowledgements, attendance, annual bonus and increase documentation and more.
- Coordinate with the VP of Administration all logistics for semi-annual employee meetings. Work with VP of HR, Writing Team Manager and Executive Council to create presentation for meeting.
- Assist in new employee onboarding process. Understand process, remain current and serve as backup to Recruiter for all orientations.
- Work with HR Generalist to ensure compliance with all RIM requirements, leave of absence, unemployment claims, and workers compensation.
- Assist in employee development programs across the network with regards to coordination, scheduling, and tracking.
- Maintain all physical and electronic filing for CU*Answers, eDOC, and Xtend.
- Process general mail and paperwork as it comes into the department, distributing among team members as appropriate.
- Assist in gathering documentation for various audits throughout the year.
- Provide system administration to staff in all HR systems including: payroll system, benefits systems, AnswerBook, intranet site, and OM.
- Provide support to staff on varies HR matters such as benefit questions, REACH scheduling and tracking, form administration, wellness support, etc.
- Help develop and support internal programs as requested by the Vice President of Human Resources.
- Other tasks as requested by Management.
- High School graduate or equivalent is required.
- Four-year degree in business-related field (specifically Human Resources) or relevant work experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products is required.
- Excellent organizational skills; ability to effectively handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to compose single correspondence or other materials as directed.
- Thoroughness, excellent attention to detail; ability to take initiative and work independently.
- Ability to use discretion when dealing with sensitive and confidential data.
- Valid driver’s license is required.
