Our client, a thriving global manufacturer, is hiring an HR Administrator to work out of their Meriden, CT location. This is a full-time position with excellent benefits.
To provide full HR administrative support to the HR Director, North America and the HR Business Partners at North America Industrial and Corporate sites. This includes, but not limited to onboarding new hires, HR lifecycle activities, employee benefits, coordination of training programs, supporting employee engagement activities. To become the UKG super-user to provide back-up support for the HR Information Specialist.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Supporting the HR Director, North America.
- To become a UKG super-user to provide back-up support for the HR Information Specialist.
- Support Enterprise programs and projects (including merit and bonus processes and audits).
- Support training processes and activities.
- Support the on-boarding process, including coordinating the induction program.
- Support monthly headcount reports.
- Work closely with Payroll to report HR changes.
- Support the administration of company benefits, including healthcare and 401k.
- An active participant with employee engagement activities.
- Actively support corporate led initiatives (i.e. Reflektive quarterly check-in’s).
- Ensure the organizations policies and processes are kept up to date and are effectively communicated.
- Maintain employee files and management system

- Excellent written and oral skills.
- Intermediate understanding of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically in Excel and Word.
- Good attention to detail.
