Human Resources Coordinator/Communication

Join our company as a Human Resources & Communications Coordinator, where you will be instrumental in ensuring seamless human resources operations and fostering effective communication within the organization. This dynamic role combines HR coordination responsibilities, such as recruitment and employee relations, with the strategic development and execution of internal and external communications. HR/Communication Coordinator Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment Support:

- Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews.

- Collaborate with hiring managers to facilitate a smooth onboarding experience for new employees.

2. Employee Records Management:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

- Handle documentation related to employee status changes, benefits, and other HR transactions.

3. Employee Relations:

- Address employee inquiries and concerns, fostering positive workplace relationships.

- Assist in conflict resolution and mediation, promoting a healthy work environment.

4. Training and Development:

- Support the planning and execution of employee training programs and evaluations

- Coordinate professional development opportunities to enhance employee skills.

5. Compliance:

- Stay informed about changes in employment laws and regulations

- Assist in ensuring HR policies and procedures align with legal requirements.

6. Communications:

- clearly convey company led initiatives, draft communications and utilize the proper channels of communication in the different departments of the company

- draft and post social media initiatives, aid in the execution of outreach initiatives.

7. Organization

- schedule and coordinate meetings, classes and conferences.

- keep up to date daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly agendas.

8. Payroll

- Submit biweekly payroll to proper accounts from offices

- Liaison between company and ADP total source

HR Coordinator Qualifications:

1.Education

- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

2.Experience:

- Previous experience in human resources coordination or a related role is preferred.

- Familiarity with recruitment processes, employee relations, and HR documentation.

3. Communication Skills:

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels.

4. Organizational Skills:

- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

- Proficient in maintaining accurate and confidential employee records.

5. Interpersonal Skills:

- Approachable and able to build positive relationships with employees.

- Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion.

6. Problem-Solving:

- Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to address employee concerns effectively.

- Understanding of conflict resolution techniques.

Social Media/Communication:

- Oversee social media platforms, creating engaging content related to company updates, events, and industry news.

- Respond to inquiries, comments, and reviews on social media platforms.

Content Creation

- Create content for our social media platforms; IG, FB once a month TikTok (once per quarter)

- Ensure content is aligned with the organization's values and objectives.

Event Coordination

- Plan and coordinate internal events, workshops, and activities that contribute to a positive organizational culture.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
