What you'll do:

• Develop and lead a high-level plan to identify current gaps and build a world-class program around talent acquisition, retention, compensation, benefits, training, and development.
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with the company's goals and values.
• Address employee relations issues in a timely and confidential manner, conducting investigations and implementing appropriate resolutions.
• Oversee employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits.
• Develop and coordinate staff development programs, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary knowledge and ready for opportunities to grow.
• Support the performance management process, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and development planning.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Manage HRIS records, prepare reports, and manage HR-related documentation.
• Additional responsibilities as required to support our team's success.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, related field or equivalent relevant job experience
• 7 years of experience in Human Resources, with a focus on HR generalist functions.
• 1-2 years of merger and acquisition experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR)
• Experience in healthcare or a similar industry

Travel Requirements:

• Remote position with approximately 20% travel to Ithaca, New York as needed

Reporting Structure:

• Reports directly to the CEO, Community Health System Services
• No direct reports at this time

Salary Range:

• $90,000 - $120,000
