Job Description
This role will provide support in all areas of the Human Resources Department. This will include personnel records, compensation management, payroll processing, benefits administration, organization development and training with knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within industry. Ideal candidate must be bilingual in Spanish.
JOB DUTIES and FUNCTIONS:
- Payroll Processing
- Review timecards prior to processing.
- Manual Adjustments.
- Payroll Reports. Garnishments and loans. Payroll check distribution.
- New Hire Onboarding – Confirmation of demographics , titles, departments and Tax Status.
- Review and reconcile bills for payment
- Financial Employment verifications
- Process Accrued Time / Random Audits
- Provides excellent customer service by promptly responding to employee requests and questions, both in person and over the phone.
- Updates HR database with employee change requests and processes paperwork.
- Performs clerical functions.
- Assists with various research and special projects as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Problem Solving Skills, Interpersonal Skills, Oral/Written Communication Skills, Adaptability and Dependability.
- Microsoft Applications: Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Outlook
- Must be bilingual in Spanish
WORK EXPERIENCE and/or EDUCATION:
- At least 3-4 years of experience processing payroll
- High School Diploma or higher education preferred
- Human Resources experience preferred
