We are looking for an HR Generalist to join our team and monitor all Human Resources functions. The Human Resources Generalist performs administrative functions to support the team, including benefits enrollment, employee onboarding, and employee relations. The ideal candidate should emphasize a customer-centric approach and have strong analytical skills.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve as primary HR point of contact for employees.
- Provide HR support and consultation; promptly answering employee and manager inquiries regarding Elmer Smith Oil Company/Domino, Inc. policies, procedures, and general HR information, analyzing unique situations for appropriate policy implementation and/or escalation.
- Administer all benefit and 401k programs.
- Implement training and development plans.
- Update employee records with new hire information and/or changes in employment status.
- Develop and implement HR policies throughout the organization.
- Process employees' queries and respond in a timely manner.
- Stay up-to-date and comply with changes in labor legislation.
- Handle all compliance matters, employee leave, and insurance claims.
- Manage, reconcile, and make payment on all company benefits.
- Special projects and miscellaneous duties as needed or assigned.
Requirements and Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to think creatively and participate fully, interacting with employees at all levels.
- Develop strong, trusting relationships to gain support and achieve results.
- Self-directed and motivated with the ability to juggle multiple projects.
- Good research skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Punctual, dependable and shows initiative in taking on additional responsibilities.
Education/Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or relevant discipline required.
- HRIS experience a plus.
