Summary
Federal Corporation, a leading factory rep & stocking distributor of mechanical equipment, boilers & controls for commercial & industrial applications is seeking a motivated generalist at our OKC, OK location to help the team with all duties in our warehouse, inventory management, shipping, and customer service. This person will interact with our customers making deliveries, pickups and assist in our shipping and receiving departments.

Qualifications

• Energetic, customer focused, team player with a willingness to help others
• Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
• Must be at least 21 years old, be a safe driver with a clean driving record and Oklahoma driver’s license
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. unassisted, regularly and sometimes daily
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated, organized individual who can work independently with minimal supervision while multi-tasking and prioritizing work
• Must be able to operate a fork-lift (fork-lift certification training certificate will be obtained once employed)
• Ability to back and maneuver a 22' trailer into tight spaces
• Familiarity with HVAC, industrial and mechanical equipment and solutions

Responsibilities

• Face of Federal to our logistics partners
• Handle issues arising in shipping or inventory handling.
• Inbound Freight o Receive all deliveries of UPS/LTL's shipments. o Check in product/inventory and enter into ERP system.

o Put inventory into stock and verify accuracy. Note damaged product timely.

• Outbound Freight/Deliveries/Order Pulling o When interacting with customers, make them your highest priority. o Accountable to ensure that each package gets pulled/shipped/delivered correctly and timely to avoid errors by recording every detail of the order, from packing items into boxes and labeling them. o Assist in pulling orders for will-call and delivery.
• Keep files of goods shipped and received.
• Prepare and complete regular shipping reports as needed.
• Maintains an organized workspace and properly file documents, updates, and product information for future reference. (Digitally is preferred method.)
• Assumes other duties as assigned.

COMPENSATION

• Base pay - $18.50 - $21.50/hour DOE
• Profit Sharing once qualified
• PTO:
• 2024 – XX hours (pro-rated depending on start date)
• 2025 – 112 hours
• 2026 – 112 hours
• 2027 – 176 hours

Though PTO will be granted at the beginning of each calendar year, the PTO will be earned monthly. If an associate separates from the company prior to 12/31, any PTO used, but unearned will be recouped from the associate’s final check. Any earned PTO not taken will be paid on the associate’s final check. Also, associates will be able to carry forward up to a max of 80 hours of PTO from the prior year.
