Reports to: Associate Executive Director of Human Resources

Location: 1603 Court Street, Syracuse NY 13208

Full-Time: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm

Our focus is supporting individuals by ways of residential housing, mental health and clinical services, and immersing our participants in community engagement. Working closely with the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities and the Office of Mental Health, we support 27 housing locations and 3 administrative buildings.

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive employee to compile and report HR data, research and maintain HR compliance, and manage HR projects from initiation to closure.

Responsibilities include:

• Act as the project manager for HR team, including the planning, executing and monitoring of new projects
• Research and coordinate all departmental training and development opportunities
• Assist with audits and file reviews
• Maintain HR compliance with all employment law postings
• Collaborate with HR manager for all agency policy & procedure updates

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field required. Minimum 3 years’ Human Resource experience, required. Familiarity with federal, state and local employment laws preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Must respect confidentiality. Must have a moderately flexible schedule. Must be able to independently perform HR related activities.

Conditions of Employment

Must possess a valid NYS driver’s license and transportation.
