POSITION SUMMARY:
The purpose of the Human Resource Business Partner is to provide value-added and efficient HR services to DPL Financial Partners and its team members. In this role you will think strategically and broadly with vision while delivering results through formal and informal influence of others. This position will work across all areas of HR, including talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits, and employee engagement.
DETAILED ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Talent Acquisition
- Create and publish job ads in various online portals.
- Conduct proactive outreach for passive candidates on jobs boards (ie Linked-in, Indeed)
- Attend college career fairs, job fairs, and other networking events to meet with potential hires.
- Screen resumes and job applications.
- Conduct initial phone screens to create shortlists of qualified candidates.
- Support or directly fill prioritized vacancies, using efficient and effective processes.
- Track hiring metrics including time-to-hire, time-to-fill and source of hire.
- Ensure compliance on applicant tracking and maintaining candidate records
HR Generalist
- Full, functional HR generalist activities including employee relations, staffing, performance management, compensation planning, and HR process coordination
- Act as an employee advocate/career coach to resolve personnel issues
- Provide advice and counsel to leadership team as a valued Business Partner
- Work with leaders/employees to establish and maintain a positive, pro-active work environment
- Drive effective cultural and organizational development initiatives that foster a positive and high-performance culture including communications, recognition, engagement actions, and effective management practices, etc.
- Creates, organizes, plans, and presents various forms of onboarding, orientation, and skills training for employees. Evaluates program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback.
- Assist with payroll, employee benefits administration and leave administration
- Prepare job descriptions, job analysis, job evaluations and job classifications
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree (preference for Human Resources).
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in HR.
- Minimum 3 years' experience recruiting.
- Experience in applicant tracking systems
- Proficiency in use of MS office suite (Excel, Word, PPT) internet searches and social media (LinkedIn, Indeed)
- Experience in sales and/or the financial sector a plus.
