We are looking for leaders that can solve the complex Human Capital problems the middle market faces throughout the entire employee lifecycle. Our team helps our clients assess and optimize the effectiveness of their Human Resources functions and create return on their Human Capital investment.
As a Human Capital Consultant at RSM, you will work with mid-sized businesses in diverse industries and receive hands-on client experience with direct access to executive management. You will have the resources and cross-functional support of the leader in the middle market in an environment which will allow you to bring your ideas and experience in both shaping our client solutions as we grow our Human Capital practice. Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design and execution of projects to help optimize all elements of the organization including but not limited to: HR Transformation, HR Outsourcing, HRIS Implementation, Organizational Design, Strategic Workforce Planning, and Talent Attraction and Retention
  • Coach, lead and develop other members of the team in project activities as well as their general career growth and development
  • Participate in the development of proposals and business development activities
  • Assist in developing new market relevant tools, methodologies, products and deliverables for the rapidly changing environment in Human Resources
  • Assist in preparing engagement/project financials

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, HRIS, Management, or Finance from an accredited university
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience working in a large organization, professional services firm or CPA firm working as a Human Resource Generalist or Human Capital Consultant
  • Understanding of the HR function and capabilities (including capabilities, processes, technology, operating model design, strategic competencies, policies, etc.)
  • Experience in at least two of the following focus areas:
    • HR Transformation
    • HR Outsourcing
    • HR Technology selection
    • Organizational Design
    • HR Compensation and Payroll
    • HR Policies and Compliance
    • Strategic Workforce Planning and Optimization
    • Talent Attraction and Retention
    • Employee Experience
    • Mergers & Acquisitions
  • Experience in the development of deliverables and reports and selling consulting work
  • Ability to travel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, MS Visio

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in leading HR Transformation, HR Outsourcing, Organizational Assessment & Design, Workforce Optimization, and Talent Attraction and Retention
  • Functional understanding of HRIS systems
  • Experience in leading the growth and development of consulting staff
  • Experience in growing and developing a Human Capital service offering
  • Experience serving clients across multiple industries and consult on Human Resources
  • Deep understanding of the contemporary trends impacting human resources and the future of work.

Compensation Range: $87,800 - $176,000
